Further Breaking the Age Barrier

The Major Minors of Flint Hill School (a high school in Oakton, Virginia) have released their album, “Flip the Script,” for digital download!

Their work is a celebration of contemporary music, with tracks such as “King of Anything” by Sara Bareilles kicking off the album, and Beyonce’s “Halo” and The Fray’s “You Found Me” included in the 8-song track list. They demonstrate their range, though, by finishing out “Flip the Script” with a throwback to the 1980′s in “Friday I’m in Love” by The Cure, and a stirring rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

It’s an eclectic, fun mix of tunes, with a polished feel and tons of talent to enjoy. The Major Minors are here to prove that high school groups can more than hold their own in a recorded world dominated by older and more experienced a cappella singers.

Make sure to support their efforts by adding “Flip the Script” to your library of a cappella albums. And keep coming back here to find out more about our artists of all ages!
