No more singing the blues…

You won’t have to – Duke University Rhythm & Blue is releasing two of its albums for digital download through A Cappella Records! You’ll now be able to purchase both “Punch a Higher Floor” and “With the Windows Down” online (in addition to their newest album, “House on Fire,” which is already available through iTunes).

All of these albums received a great deal of praise and recognition from the a cappella community, much like the group itself (who is presently waiting to see if any of their NINE A cappella Community Award nominations blossom into victories).

In addition to these releases, Rhythm & Blue is also putting out a new single – “Run,” originally performed by Snow Patrol but recently popularized by Leona Lewis, featuring the stellar vocals of one of the group’s shining stars, Amber Sembly.

Rhythm & Blue also made a splash last fall in the a cappella scene for their live performance (in addition to their tradition of quality recorded music), bringing down the house and winning the collegiate competition in front of a sold-out, enthusiastic crowd at SoJam 2010. Founded in 1992 and no strangers to collegiate a cappella competition, Rhythm & Blue has always worked hard to offer audiences on Duke’s campus and far beyond an eclectic and energetic performance – and they don’t disappoint.
