The Accidentals, hailing from the Univeristy of Georgia, have released their newest album, “A Gentleman’s Game,” on iTunes!
To get audiences excited, the Accidentals recently released “Stu’s Song” from The Hangover as a preview. In addition to this song, the album features entertaining and musical takes on songs such as “A Change Is Gonna Come” and “Come Together,” all part of a track list full of instant favorites.
The Accidentals exists as an offshoot of the university’s esteemed Glee Club (and has for the past 31 years). The group was founded when the Glee Club’s director at that time, Dr. E. Pierce Arant, Jr. (known as Coach), decided to liven up their concerts a bit by having a featured quartet chosen from the club’s membership. Over time, this quartet grew into the Accidentals as they are today. Now, the group is a noted competitor in the International Championship of Collegiate A cappella, making it to the finals just two years ago, and proving to be formidable competition whenever they enter. They also earned second place at the most recent SoJam collegiate competition.
