For many, music is all about how the experience of listening makes you feel. Music is often used as a therapist, a cathartic release for those overwhelmed by their own feelings. And no force on Earth inspires such a flood of emotion quite like love.
Vocal band Euphonism offers music fans one more way to channel those feelings with their latest release. “Stuck in a Memory” is the second feature length studio offering from the group, and now it’s available in iTunes for digital download through A Cappella Records!
The album rounds out at an even 12 songs, each one meticulously chosen to represent the various ups and downs one encounters when falling in – or out of – love. Tunes such as Adele’s “Hometown Glory,” Duffy’s “Mercy,” Bruno Mars’ “Grenade” and Ray LaMotagne’s “You Are the Best Thing” all convey the frustration, devastation and elation inherent in love found and lost. But in addition to their emotional merits, the songs are also arranged and executed with talent and style. “Stuck in a Memory” is sure to be a great companion for any a cappella fan experiencing the joys or pains of love, and is best enjoyed in its entirety.
Euphonism is relatively new to the a cappella scene – founded just in 2006 – but in that short while have created an established look and sound that is all their own. Sleek, sophisticated, modern and energetic, this Contemporary A cappella League group has consistently proven itself as much with well-received appearances as it has with repeat recognition from the Contemporary A cappella Recording Awards board. Hailing from the Washington, D.C. area, Euphonism is an internationally recognized group who is truly here to stay.
