Not To Be Cheesy, But…

There is no feeling for any a cappella group quite like the release of its first album. Countless hours of hard work and thousands of dollars go into its creation, all so a group can share its passion with the masses.

The Cheezies, hailing from Miami University, can now experience that unique pleasure as they release “Front & Center” for digital download through A Cappella Records!

At an easy yet thoroughly enjoyable ten tracks, this album is a perfect way for the Cheezies to introduce themselves to the recorded a cappella world. Tracks such as “Breakeven” by The Script, “If I Ever Fall In Love” by Shai, and “Little Lion Man” by Mumford and Sons, the group exhibits a flair for the contemporary while simultaneously paying homage to the music of incarnations past. Clean production and committed group performances make the experience of “Front & Center” one you don’t want to miss.

The Cheezies have been around since 1989, and have done much to establish themselves in the a cappella community during their tenure. Founded as a subsection of the respected Miami University Men’s Glee Club, the Cheezies stay true to their heritage by promoting male musicians in their native Ohio and beyond. More than that, though, the group hopes to reach out to as many music lovers as possible with their singing, keeping their repertoire diversified and accessible to all. They have also made a physical commitment to their goals, travelling to almost 20 of the United States, and five nations around the world. They have also been seen in high-profile settings, opening for Naturally 7 and singing the National Anthem for both the Detroit Lions and the Cleveland Indians.
